Opening van Rebuild van Stichting DelightLabs. Stichting DELITELABS is a non-profit foundation head quartered in Amsterdam, with the goal to fight youth unemployment in the European Union by promoting entrepreneurship. REBUILD is a collective of government, private organizations, individuals and startups that believe that entrepreneurship can contribute to helping refugees rebuild their lives. It is an umbrella initiative for “startups of humanity” and acts as an engine to drive collaboration and scalable solutions. DELITELABS is een non-profit organisatie in Amsterdam, ontstaan vanuit de missie jeugdwerkeloosheid tegen te gaan. Initiatiefnemer Christof Hawle begon eerst een startup school voor werkloze jongeren in Spanje. Na deze succesvolle try-out besloot Christof DELITELABS te implementeren in Nederland om de potentie van vluchtelingen zichtbaar te maken. In een intensieve cursus van zeven weken helpt hij vluchtelingen entrepreneur te worden. Lees hier het Engelse interview met Stadmaker Christof Hawle op ons Europese platform Cities in Transition. In Amsterdam heeft Christof als onderdeel van DELITELABS het programma REBUILD ontwikkeld, met in het achterhoofd het idee dat er niet één oplossing bestaat voor de recente vluchtelingencrisis, maar dat er meerdere oplossingen nodig zijn.
